"The grass withers, the flower fades, but the word of our God will stand forever." Isaiah 40:8

The challenges of postmodern thinking present new questions regarding the Bible today. Can we still speak confidently of knowing the truth? Does the Bible really have the authority it used to be given? Are the challenges of Bible interpretation too great for us to speak in absolute terms? With questions like these in mind, we are pleased to present the 2007 Philadelphia Conference on Reformed Theology, The Word: Above All Earthly Powers. Yesterday's objections to the full authority of Scripture are still with us, but new challenges have recently been brought to bear. With both of these in mind - we might consider them the challenges of modernity and post-modernity - our speakers will explain why a high view of Scripture typical of classic Reformed theology is not only sustainable but essential to our ministry today. Seminar speakers include Jerry Bridges, Donald Carson, Paul Jones, and Richard Phillips. 4 messages on 4 CDs
