As we wait for the second coming of our Savior that church finds itself in the world but not of the world. The church at this time should not be seeking to bring the whole world into the church, nor should it be seeking to change the social order of our societies. The church is to be a witness to the world by our words and deeds to the salvation that God offers to all men. The world will continue to hate us and the things of God, but God has called us to be faithful till He comes to judge both the living and dead.
