The Apostle Paul said, “whatever is not of faith is sin.” For many, faith is just a mysterious leap into the dark. True faith, however, is not blind trust, wishful thinking, or a positive attitude. No, it’s an understanding of things hoped for – the conviction of things not seen -- and a belief in God’s word. We see true testaments to that faith through the examples of Noah, Abraham, and Moses. For these men, that meant when God comes to us we need to have faith enough to listen. They had a solid, victorious faith given to them by a true God. We need to have such faith.
